365 American Rock Band

A Day to Remember (ADTR) is a highly regarded American rock band hailing from Ocala, Florida. Originally formed in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs under the name End of an Era, the band has since become known for their unique fusion of metalcore and pop-punk.

Over the years, the lineup has undergone some changes, with the current members being vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, percussionist/drummer Alex Shelnutt, and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff.

The band's journey began with their debut album, "And Their Name Was Treason," which was released in 2005 under the label Indianola Records. Following this, Scruggs was replaced by Shelnutt in 2006. Later that same year, they recorded their second album, "For Those Who Have Heart," under Victory Records. The release of this album propelled them into the spotlight and led to extensive tours in the United Kingdom and the United States, along with memorable performances at various festivals. Their third album, "Homesick," was released in 2009, during which Denney departed from the band and was replaced by Skaff.

Continuing their musical journey, A Day to Remember released "What Separates Me from You" in 2010 and embarked on a worldwide tour to promote the album's release. However, legal issues arose in 2011 when the band found themselves in a lawsuit with Victory Records regarding their recording contract. In October 2013, they were granted the right to self-release new albums until a final verdict was reached. Seizing the opportunity, they self-released their fifth album, "Common Courtesy," that same month.

In 2016, A Day to Remember unveiled their sixth studio album, "Bad Vibrations," showcasing their evolving sound and lyrical prowess. Their latest offering, "You're Welcome," arrived on March 5, 2021, serving as their first release under the renowned label Fueled by Ramen. This album demonstrated their growth as musicians and cemented their status as a force to be reckoned with in the rock scene.

A Day to Remember's enduring presence in the music industry can be attributed to their ability to seamlessly blend heavy and melodic elements, creating a sound that resonates with a diverse range of listeners. With their relentless touring and dedication to their craft, the band has established a loyal fanbase worldwide and continues to captivate audiences with their energetic live performances. As they navigate the ever-changing landscape of rock music, A Day to Remember remains a beacon of creativity and passion, leaving an indelible mark on the genre they proudly represent.
