Aaron Lewis (born April 13, 1972) was born in Rutland, Vermont, United States. He is an American musician renowned for his role as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of the alternative metal band Staind. He contributed to the creation of seven studio albums, solidifying his status in the music industry. In 2010, Lewis embarked on a solo journey into the realm of country music, unveiling his debut EP, "Town Line," in 2011, marking a significant divergence from his rock roots.

His transition to country music was influenced by a childhood connection to the genre through his grandfather. The catalyst for this musical shift was his tour with fellow rocker-turned-country artist Kid Rock. Lewis's foray into country music proved successful, with his EP featuring the hit "Country Boy" alongside legends like George Jones and Charlie Daniels.

Continuing his solo endeavors, Lewis released his first full-length solo album, "The Road," in 2012. Notably, the album's single "Endless Summer" earned a place on the country charts. Lewis showcased his versatility by writing all the songs on the album, except for "Granddaddy's Gun," marking a departure from his usual songwriting practice.

Undeterred by the challenges of time constraints, Lewis ventured into his second solo album, "Sinner," recorded in a remarkable 18-hour session. This album, featuring a guest vocal appearance by his daughter Zoe, demonstrated Lewis's commitment to his craft.

Lewis's musical journey continued with the release of his third solo album, "State I'm In," on April 12, 2019, showcasing his evolution as a country artist. In 2021, he made a bold statement with the release of "Am I the Only One," a song addressing his concerns about America's leadership and left-wing activists. Looking ahead, Lewis unveiled "Goodbye Town" on October 21, 2021, teasing the arrival of his fourth solo album, "Frayed at Both Ends," set for release on January 28, 2022, promising fans another chapter in his compelling musical narrative.
