She is professionally known as Ángela Aguilar, who has garnered widespread acclaim for her contributions to regional Mexican music. She entered the world while her mother was accompanying her father, the renowned singer Pepe Aguilar, on tour. Ángela Aguilar is part of a distinguished musical lineage; her paternal grandparents are the celebrated actors and singers Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre, icons of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.

Ángela first gained significant attention in 2018 when she delivered a stunning performance of "La Llorona" at the 19th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, earning her a standing ovation and critical acclaim.
