Gaynor Hopkins (born June 8, 1951) was born in Skewen, Neath, Wales. She is a Welsh singer known for her distinctive husky voice, which has become her signature. She is professionally known as Bonnie Tyler, emerged onto the music scene in the late 1970s. Tyler gained initial recognition with the release of her 1977 album "The World Starts Tonight", which featured standout tracks like "Lost in France" and "More Than a Lover".
