Zhoas Lvovich Maskurov (born January 28 , 1999) was born in Moscow, Russia. He is a Russian hip-hop artist. He is professionally known as Bushido Zho. he showed a keen interest in music from a young age and began studying it more seriously in 2017.
However, it wasn't until 2019 that he received his breakthrough moment with the release of his mini-album titled "Unfortunately, this is a ladder". The album featured six tracks, each with its own unique sound and style. Bushido Zho collaborated with a variety of guest performers on the record, including Seemee, Mayot, Hillhope, and Ape Muder, to create a unique blend of sounds that caught the attention of fans and critics alike. The album was a huge success and helped to establish Bushido Zho as a rising star in the Russian hip-hop scene.
Following the success of his mini-album, Bushido Zho began working on his debut full-length album, "No Bang! Hold On!" in the fall of 2020. However, the release of the album was delayed several times due to a variety of factors. These included tours, the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to prepare merchandise and videos for one of the tracks, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Despite these setbacks, the album was finally released in March 2022 to critical acclaim. The record features 17 tracks with a total duration of 35 minutes, and Bushido Zho once again collaborated with a diverse group of artists, including SEEMEE, MAYOT, 163ONMYNECK, LOVV66, Soda Luv, and Blago White, to create a unique and varied sound. The album debuted at number one on the Russian Apple Music album charts, cementing Bushido Zho's position as one of the most exciting and promising hip-hop artists in Russia.
