Christopher Alvin Stapleton (born April 15, 1978) was born in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. He is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He is professionally known as Chris Stapleton. However, his passion for music ignited, leading him to make the pivotal decision to drop out and wholeheartedly follow his musical aspirations.

His artistry quickly found a platform when he inked a deal with Sea Gayle Music, enabling him to pen and publish his compositions. Stapleton's songwriting prowess shines through, with an impressive portfolio of over 170 songs to his name, including six chart-topping country hits.
