CLASS:y (클라씨) is a South Korean girl group that gained popularity through their participation in the MBC survival show, My Teenage Girl. Under the management of M25 Entertainment and Universal Music Japan, CLASS:y is composed of seven talented members: Jimin, Seonyou, Hyungseo, Hyeju, Riwon, Boeun, and Chaewon.

The formation of CLASS:y took place during the captivating journey of the reality show, My Teenage Girl. On the final episode, which aired on February 28th, 2022, each member of the group was unveiled. Notably, three senior contestants emerged victorious (Hyungseo, Chaewon, and Hyeju), followed by four sophomore contestants (Riwon, Seonyou, Boeun, and Jimin).

The group's name, CLASS:y, carries a profound meaning that reflects their "classy" visuals and their destined path to excel in the upper echelons of the industry. The audience of the show, casting their votes on Naver, selected this name, which was subsequently endorsed by CLASS:y's agency.

CLASS:y made an impressive debut with their highly successful mini-album, titled CLASS IS OVER, on May 5th, 2022. Their devoted fans were taken aback when, only a short while later, another mini-album titled LIVES ACROSS was released on May 26th of the same year, showcasing the group's swift evolution.

Building on their momentum, CLASS:y released their first single-album, Day & Night, which surpassed the commercial success of their previous releases. The album captivated listeners with its diverse range of tracks, highlighting the group's versatility and artistic growth.

Remarkably, merely a month after their debut, on June 22nd, 2022, CLASS:y expanded their reach by venturing into the Japanese music scene with the single-album SHUT DOWN -JP Ver.-. This release featured two tracks, presenting Japanese versions of their previously adored Korean songs.

A year later, on February 22nd, 2023, CLASS:y achieved yet another milestone by making their official Japanese debut with the album "TARGET," marking their entry into the Japanese music industry with great anticipation and enthusiasm.
