She completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai in September 2019, and also pursued a BME course from the Indian School of Management & Entrepreneurship in Mumbai.

Dhvani gained immense popularity with her single "Vaaste" in 2019, which has crossed over 1.3 billion views on YouTube, making her the youngest Indian pop star to achieve the fastest 1 billion views on the platform. She made her debut in the music industry with the songs "Humsafar Acoustic" from the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania, "Tere Mere Reprise" from the movie Chef, "Veere" from Veere Di Wedding, and "Ishtehaar" from the film Welcome To New York, in which she collaborated with the renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
