Tobias Hartmann (born April 06, 1982) was born in Oldenburg, Germany. He is a German DJ, remixer and producer. He is professionally known as Robin Clark (DJ Robin). Hartmann had an early passion for music and began playing the keyboard and drums during his childhood.
In 2001, he bought his first set of turntables and started performing as a DJ. He had his first significant performances in 2002 and has since become an integral part of the internet radio station Techno4ever.net.
Since 2004, Hartmann has been hosting his show called Hardbeats every Thursday from 20:00 to 22:00 (UTC+1) on Techno4ever.net. He is also the project leader at Techno4ever since 2006. Over the years, he has gained a reputation for his electrifying performances and outstanding mixing skills.
Hartmann started producing his own tracks in 2004 and released his first single under the name Bazzface in 2005. A year later, in 2006, he released his first single as Robin Clark. In 2007, he collaborated with Sam Punk to release the sampler Hardbeatz Vol. 9, which included some of Hartmann's other aliases.
In 2009, Hartmann began working with Sam Punk on the relaunch of the new digital-label Hardbeatz Digital Records, which was a significant milestone in his career. In September 2010, Hartmann achieved an impressive feat by obtaining the TOP 11 position in the Defqon.1 Producers Competition, which cemented his position as one of the best producers in the industry.
Hartmann's passion for music did not prevent him from pursuing his education. In September 2010, he completed his Bachelor of Arts Social Work (BA SA) at the University of Vechta. He has continued to develop his music career and has gained a massive following worldwide.
In 2018, Hartmann established his label, BLACKBOX DIGITAL, which has been a platform for many upcoming artists in the industry. Robin Clark's success in the industry is attributed to his relentless passion for music, his remarkable skills, and his commitment to his craft.
