Christian Yu (born September 6, 1990) was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He is an Australian singer, rapper and director based in South Korea. He is professionally known as DPR Ian. In 2022, he earned the distinction of being the 10th most streamed K-pop male solo artist globally on Spotify, a testament to his growing international fanbase and his impact on the music scene.

Before pursuing a solo career, Yu was a member of the boy group C-Clown under the management of Yedang Entertainment. C-Clown gained popularity during their active years from 2012 to 2015. However, Yu decided to embark on a new path and co-founded his own label called Dream Perfect Regime (DPR).
