Emma Ruth Rundle (born October 10, 1983) was born in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and visual artist. She has made a significant impact on the music scene. She has gained recognition through her solo work as well as her involvement with bands such as the Nocturnes, Marriages, and Red Sparowes.
Rundle's musical journey began with the formation of her first band, the Nocturnes, which saw the release of the Wellington EP in 2008, followed by two albums, "A Year of Spring" in 2009 and "Aokigahara" in 2011. During this time, she also joined Red Sparowes and contributed to their third album, "The Fear Is Excruciating, But Therein Lies the Answer," released in 2010.
In addition to her band affiliations, Rundle embarked on a solo career and self-released an ambient guitar album titled "Electric Guitar: One" in 2011. The album was later reissued in 2014 by Errant Child Recordings. In 2012, she formed the trio Marriages, which released the Kitsune EP in 2012, followed by the full-length album "Salome" in 2015.
