Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado (born May 2, 1991) was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. He is professionally known as Farruko. Collaborating with renowned artists such as Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Don Omar, and J Álvarez, Farruko gained immense popularity in the music industry. His journey to stardom began in 2009 when he utilized the power of Myspace to build a dedicated fan base that ultimately propelled him to become a prominent singer.

In 2011, Farruko's talent shone brightly as he featured on a track called "Su Hija Me Gusta" alongside José Feliciano. As his musical style evolved, he began tailoring his songs to appeal to younger audiences, often focusing on themes of relationships. The internet played a significant role in his success, with his songs gaining traction online and catching the attention of Puerto Rican radio stations, who started broadcasting his music to a wider audience. Responding to fans' concerns, Farruko assured them that he was retiring his old persona and embracing his true identity as Carlos. He even promised to refund the money of any dissatisfied attendees.
