Karol Wiśniewski (born February 13, 1996) was born in Cracow, Poland. He is a Polish influencer, YouTuber, entrepreneur and musician. He is professionally known as Friz. Friz began his career on YouTube in 2010, posting videos related to roller skating, Minecraft, and Pokémon Go under the pseudonyms "FreeZe" and "WiśniA". Over time, he gained a massive following due to his unique content and engaging personality.
In August 2018, Friz, along with his friends Mateusz Trąbka (Tromba) and Łukasz Wojtyca (Wujek Łuki), founded a team of online creators called Team Friza. For two years, the group focused on creating content solely for YouTube. In February 2020, they made their debut as musicians with the release of their first song titled "We're taking over jutubes" in collaboration with Wip Bros. The song went on to accumulate over 71 million views. The success of their first single led to the release of their studio album, "Season 3," in 2021. The album featured collaborations with popular artists such as Cleo, Donatan, BRO, and Roksana Węgiel.
Friz's popularity skyrocketed, and he became the second most popular influencer in Poland, according to Forbes magazine's 2021 ranking. Additionally, he was listed as the 21st richest Pole under forty by the "Wprost" weekly. Friz's success as an influencer led him to launch his program titled "Your five minutes," where he invited aspiring content creators to participate in a competition to win the opportunity to create content for the "GenZie" channel. The winners of the competition went on to release 365 videos and gained over a million followers within a year.
On November 17, 2020, Friz appeared on the Kuba Wojewódzki program on TVN, where he performed with the renowned Polish singer, Igo. However, on July 25, 2022, Friz announced that Team Friza was coming to an end, and he would focus on new initiatives in the network. Despite the end of his joint project, Friz remains one of the most successful influencers in Poland, with an estimated fortune of PLN 151 million.
