Rupinder Singh Grewal (born April 19, 1998) was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He is an Indian Punjabi actor, singer, film director and producer, associated with Punjabi Music Industry. He is professionally known as Gippy Grewal.

Grewal began his career in music with the album "Chakkh Lai," produced by Aman Hayer and with music by Atul Sharma. However, it was his 2012 hit song "Angreji Beat," featuring Yo Yo Honey Singh, that catapulted him to fame. The song was later featured in the Bollywood movie Cocktail, adding to its popularity.

Grewal made his first foray into films with a supporting role in the 2010 Punjabi movie "Mel Karade Rabba," which also starred Neeru Bajwa and Jimmy Sheirgill. In 2012, he landed his first lead role in "Jihne Mera Dil Luteya," which became the biggest hit in Punjabi cinema at that time. This was followed by the hugely successful "Carry On Jatta," which had the second-highest opening and total collection for a Punjabi film upon its release in July 2012.

Grewal's filmography also includes the action film "Singh vs Kaur," the comedy films "Lucky Di Unlucky Story," "Best of Luck," and "Bhaji in Problem," and he even dubbed a voice in the Punjabi version of "A Good Day to Die Hard," which was the first Hollywood movie to be dubbed in Punjabi.

In 2015, Grewal made his Bollywood debut with a guest appearance in the comedy-drama film "Dharam Sankat Mein" and went on to make his full-acting debut in the romantic-comedy film "Second Hand Husband." He also starred in the Hindi movie "Lucknow Central" alongside Farhan Akhtar in 2017.

Grewal's musical talent continued to shine through with his song "Where Baby Where" featuring Amanda Cerny, which was a massive hit with over 25 million views.

Grewal's performances have earned him several accolades, including the "PTC Best Actor Award" in 2011 for his performance in "Jihne Mera Dil Luteya" and the "PIFAA Best Actor Award" in 2012. He again won the "PTC Best Actor Award" in 2015 for "Jatt James Bond," sharing the award with Diljit Dosanjh.
