Huang Guanheng (born September 28, 1999) was born in South Korea. He is a main rapper, lead dancer, sub-vocalist, and visual of K-pop group NCT, who is currently based in South Korea. He is professionally known as HENDERY or 헨드리. He is a member of the popular K-pop group NCT and its sub-units NCT U and WayV.
HENDERY first caught the attention of the public in July 2018 when he was introduced as a trainee under SM Entertainment's pre-debut project, SMROOKIES. He then made his official debut on January 17, 2019, as a member of NCT's China-based sub-unit, WayV, with the song "理所当然 (Regular)."
As a member of NCT, HENDERY holds multiple positions within the group, including being the main rapper, lead dancer, sub-vocalist, and visual. Despite being relatively new to the music industry, he has already gained a large fan following and is known for his impressive dancing skills and unique rap style.
In 2021, HENDERY was set to make his debut in WayV's third sub-unit, LUCAS&HENDERY, with the song "Jalapeño." However, due to controversy surrounding his bandmate LUCAS, the release of the song was postponed. Nonetheless, HENDERY continues to work hard and contribute to the success of NCT and its sub-units.
