Hirdesh Singh (born March 15, 1983) was born in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. He is an Indian music rapper, producer, singer, songwriter, and actor, who has made a significant impact on the music industry. He is professionally known as Yo Yo Honey Singh or simply Honey Singh.

Singh's journey in the music industry began in 2003 when he started working as a session and recording artist. He quickly made a name for himself as a bhangra and hip hop music producer, and soon after began creating his own songs.
