Jason Bradley DeFord (born December 4, 1984) was born in Antioch, Tennessee, United States. He is an American singer & songwriter. He is professionally known as Jelly Roll. He recently achieved great success at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, where his song "Son of a Sinner" won three prestigious accolades, including Male Video of the Year, Male Breakthrough Video of the Year, and Digital-First Performance of the Year.

Before transitioning into country music, Jelly Roll initially gained recognition in the hip hop scene. One of his notable collaborations was the 2010 track "Pop Another Pill" with Memphis rapper Lil Wyte, which garnered over 6.3 million views on YouTube.
