Jaskaran Singh Aujla (January 18, 1997) was born in the village of Ghurala in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He is an indian punjabi singer and songwriter associated with punjabi music and flim industry. He is professionally known as Karan Aujla.

Unfortunately, he faced tragic losses at a young age when his father died in a car accident, and a few years later, his mother passed away due to cancer. At the age of nine, Karan Aujla and his sisters relocated to Canada, where he continued his education. It was during his 9th standard that Aujla's talent for songwriting was discovered by Jassi Gill. In a chance meeting at a wedding ceremony, Aujla offered Gill the lyrics of the song "Range," which turned out to be a massive hit. This success gave Aujla the motivation to pursue a career in music.

In 2014, Aujla made his debut in the music industry with the song "Cell Phone" in collaboration with Mac Benipal. However, the song failed to make a commercial impact, receiving only a few thousand views. Aujla didn't lose hope and continued working on his craft. He later met with Deep Jandu and Elly Mangat, and together, they worked on several successful projects at Toronto Studio.

In June 2019, Aujla faced a life-threatening attack in Surrey, Canada, which was later claimed by gangster Sukhpreet Budda. Interpol arrested Budda in November 2019, and Aujla was thankfully unharmed.

Aujla has expressed his desire to collaborate with several well-known international artists, including the likes of American rapper 50 Cent and Canadian rapper Drake. He has since become a household name in the Indian music industry, thanks to his successful collaborations and solo projects.

In 2020, Aujla wrote the biggest hit for Diljit Dosanjh's "G.O.A.T." album, which became a major commercial success. His songwriting skills, coupled with his unique vocal style, have earned him a massive fan following in India and around the world. Aujla is now considered to be one of the most promising young talents in the Punjabi music industry, and his future looks bright.
