Keith Lionel Urban (born October 26, 1967) was born in Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand. later he moved to Australia, where he spent most of his childhood and teenage years. He is an Australian-American singer, guitarist, and songwriter known for his work in country music. He is professionally known as Keith Urban.

Urban's music career spans over several decades, during which he has released 11 studio albums, one of which was released only in Australia, and an album with the Ranch. He has charted 37 singles on the US Hot Country Songs chart, and an impressive 18 of those singles have gone on to claim the number one spot.
