He is professionally known as Lil Peep, left an indelible mark on the music scene, particularly in the mid–late 2010s emo rap movement. Lil Peep's musical journey began under the alias "Trap Goose" on SoundCloud in 2013. However, it was under the name Lil Peep, a childhood nickname given by his mother, that he gained widespread recognition.

His breakthrough came with the 2015 single "Star Shopping," signaling the start of a prolific career. Lil Peep's unique blend of emo, trap, lo-fi, and alternative rock resonated with a diverse audience.
