Wong Yukhei (born January 25, 1999) was born in Hong Kong. He is a South Korea Rapper. He is professionally known as LUCAS. He comes from a Teochew and Thai ancestry background and is a performer based in South Korea. He is a member of the K-pop group NCT and its sub-units, NCT U and WayV. In addition, he is also a part of SM Entertainment's supergroup SuperM since 2019.
In April 2017, LUCAS was introduced as a part of SM Entertainment's pre-debut training team, SMROOKIES. Later that month, he appeared in TEN's music video for "夢中夢 (몽중몽); Dream In A Dream," which was part of SM Entertainment's S.M. Station project. He made his official debut as a member of NCT in 2018 with NCT U's promotional single "BOSS." In January 2019, he debuted in NCT's China-based sub-unit WayV with "理所当然 (Regular)." LUCAS was announced as a member of SuperM in October 2019, and he debuted with the title track "Jopping."
On August 25, 2021, LUCAS temporarily halted his activities as an idol due to controversy arising from his past relationships. The postponement of the release of his song "Jalapeño" with WayV member HENDERY and future promotions for it was announced. Despite the setback, LUCAS continues to be an integral part of NCT and its sub-units, showcasing his skills as a lead rapper, sub-vocalist, visual, center, and face of the group. His contributions to the K-pop industry have solidified his position as a rising star, earning him a loyal fan base that continues to support him through his journey.
