Patrick Großmann (born January 28, 1994) was born in Bautzen, Germany. He is a German rapper with Mozambican roots. He is professionally known as Luciano. He has made a significant impact on the German hip-hop scene. Growing up in the culturally diverse Schöneberg district of Berlin, Luciano's unique background as the son of a Mozambican father and a German mother influenced his music and perspective.
He initially gained recognition by sharing his early works on the Locosquad YouTube channel. Shortly thereafter, he released his first mixtape, "12812," which marked the beginning of his musical journey. Luciano's breakthrough came with the track "Jagen die Mio," a collaborative effort with his friend Nikky Santoro. This success paved the way for his second mixtape, "Banditorinho," solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the German rap scene. Notably, he is a key member of Locosquad and forms one half of the rap duo $kelleto, alongside Azzi Memo.
His initial foray into music was supported by Skaf Films, who produced his first song, and Gentian, who directed it. Luciano's solo career soared, with one of his highest-charting singles in Germany, "Meer," reaching the impressive third position on the charts as of March 2019. Additionally, he achieved a number one ranking as a featured artist on Capital Bra's hit track, "Roli Glitzer Glitzer."
