He hails from a musical lineage, being the son of Dave Faber, a member of the renowned band Faber Drive. Powfu's journey to fame began with his breakout single, "Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)," featuring the talented Beabadoobee. This track, released in February 2020, ingeniously sampled Beabadoobee's debut hit, "Coffee."

"Death Bed" swiftly gained immense traction, largely thanks to its viral spread on TikTok.
