Kim Yong-sun (born February 21, 1991) was born in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. She is a prominent South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress. She is professionally known as Solar (Mamamoo). She is currently signed under RBW and serves as the leader and vocalist of the popular girl group Mamamoo, as well as its sub-unit Mamamoo+. Solar made her debut as a member of Mamamoo on June 18, 2014, alongside Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa.

In addition to her group activities, Solar has also embarked on a successful solo career.
