After completing his studies, Sumit started working night shifts in a private company. During the day, he would compose songs and develop his music skills.

In January 2018, Sumit released his debut song, titled ‘Karobaar’. Although the song didn't gain much fame, it encouraged Sumit's family to support him. Sumit's career took off after he released the audio of his second song, ‘Gangwar with Bawli Tared’.
