Why Don't We, also known as WDW, is an American boy band that was formed in 2016. The group consists of Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery, and Zach Herron. Prior to forming the band, the members met in Los Angeles, California, in 2015. With their shared passion for music, they decided to come together to form Why Don't We.

On October 20, 2016, Why Don't We released their debut single, "Taking You," which was featured on their debut EP, "Only the Beginning." This EP was released on November 25 of the same year. Following the release of their debut EP, the band embarked on their first headlining tour, the "Taking You Tour," in 2017.

The group's second EP, "Something Different," was released on April 21, 2017. The EP's title track received significant airplay on Radio Disney and propelled the band to even greater popularity. As a result, they embarked on the "Something Different Tour," their second headlining tour, later that year.

"Why Don't We Just," the band's third EP, was released on June 2, 2017. That same year, in September, the band signed with Atlantic Records, which was a major milestone in their career. Following their signing, the band released their fourth EP, "Invitation," in the same month.

In November 2017, Why Don't We released their fifth EP, "A Why Don't We Christmas," which featured five festive tracks. The band continued to build on their growing fanbase by headlining the "Invitation Tour" in 2018, in support of their "Invitation" EP.

Apart from their music career, the band has also appeared in several vlogs of YouTuber Logan Paul, which has further increased their visibility and popularity. With their catchy tunes, captivating live performances, and dedicated fanbase, Why Don't We continues to make their mark in the music industry.
