Kim Yu-gyeom (born November 17, 1997) was born in Namyangju, South Korea. He is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is professionally known as Yugyeom.Yugyeom rose to fame as the main dancer of the popular South Korean boy group, Got7, after making his debut with the group in 2014. In addition to his work with Got7, Yugyeom is also one half of the duo subunit Jus2.
Yugyeom's journey to becoming a member of Got7 started when he enrolled in a dance school in seventh grade. His passion for dance led him to audition for JYP, where he was eventually selected to be a trainee. Yugyeom made his first TV appearance on an episode of Mnet's reality-survival program "WIN: Who Is Next" before his debut with Got7. The episode aired on September 6, 2013, and featured Yugyeom alongside future Got7 members Jackson, Mark, and BamBam.
As a member of Got7, Yugyeom's dancing skills have earned him widespread recognition.
