BGYO, formerly known as Star Hunt Academy Boys or SHA Boys, is a renowned five-member Filipino boy group that was formed in 2018 by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. Under the guidance of ABS-CBN's talent management arm, Star Magic, the group officially debuted in 2021.

The group consists of Akira, Gelo, JL, Mikki, and Nate, who all share a passion for co-writing and producing their music that incorporates their Filipino roots into their style, songwriting, and overall output.

The group's lyrics often touch on social issues that resonate with the young generation, such as hope, youth empowerment, and self-love. Dubbed as the Aces of P-pop, BGYO has gained immense popularity and has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the Filipino music industry. They made history by becoming the first Filipino pop group to have its topic on Twitter.

BGYO's debut single, "The Light," released in 2021, paved the way for their success. They followed this up with their first original soundtrack, "He's Into Her," which earned the group recognition for "Best Theme Song or Title Theme" at the 2021 Asian Academy Creative Awards. The group's sophomore single, "The Baddest," debuted at number two and went straight to number one for two consecutive weeks on the weekly Billboard Next Big Sound chart, making them the first Filipino act to achieve this feat.
