"Mother Mother" is a Canadian indie rock band hailing from Quadra Island, British Columbia. The group comprises talented musicians, including Ryan Guldemond, who lends his skills on guitar and vocals, alongside the captivating voices and keyboard talents of Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin. Rounding out the rhythm section are Ali Siadat on drums and Mike Young on bass. Notably, the band experienced a change in lineup when Jeremy Page, their longtime bassist, departed in 2016.

The band's musical journey commenced in 2005 when they independently released their debut self-titled album under the moniker "Mother." Subsequently, they opted for a slight name adjustment, becoming Mother Mother, and in 2008, they re-released their first album through Last Gang Records, now titled "Touch Up." This reissue was enhanced with a selection of new and invigorating tracks.

As the band's popularity grew, they continued to create compelling music, giving rise to their second album, "O My Heart," which graced listeners' ears on September 16, 2008. Their third album, "Eureka," followed suit, arriving on March 15, 2011, and further solidifying their position in the indie rock scene. Building on this success, their fourth album, "The Sticks," was released on September 18, 2012, showcasing their ever-evolving sound and artistic prowess.

In 2014, Mother Mother delivered their fifth album, "Very Good Bad Thing," which debuted on November 4, 2014, with an American release on April 7, 2015, under Def Jam Recordings. This marked a significant milestone for the band as they garnered more international recognition and expanded their global fanbase. Their sixth album, "No Culture," continued their upward trajectory, hitting the airwaves on February 10, 2017, and saw another release through Def Jam Recordings in the United States.

The momentum of their artistic journey persisted, leading to the release of their seventh album, "Dance and Cry," on November 2, 2018, captivating audiences with its emotional depth and lyrical prowess. However, it was in late 2020 when the band experienced a newfound surge in popularity when their music went viral on TikTok, amassing streams and introducing their unique sound to a whole new generation of listeners.

Remaining true to their creative passion, Mother Mother unveiled their eighth studio album, "Inside," on June 25, 2021, which received critical acclaim and further strengthened their position in the music industry. To the delight of fans, the band released a deluxe version of "Inside" on January 28, 2022, featuring seven brand-new and exciting songs, solidifying their reputation as an indie rock powerhouse.
