Sigrid Solbakk Raabe (born September 5, 1996) was born in Alesund, Norway. She is a rising Norwegian singer-songwriter. She is professionally known as Sigrid. she burst onto the scene at the age of 16 with her debut single "Sun," a response to her brother's challenge to create original music rather than sticking to cover performances of Adele's songs. This marked the beginning of her journey in music.

In 2013, "Sun" introduced Sigrid to Norwegian radio audiences, leading to a contract with Petroleum Records. Her musical prowess was showcased at renowned festivals like Øyafestivalen, cementing her presence as a promising artist.
