Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979) was born in Compton, California, United States. He is an American rapper. He is professionally known as The Game. He began his music career by releasing a series of mixtapes with the help of fellow West Coast rapper JT the Bigga Figga. The Game's debut independent album, Untold Story, was released in 2004, which led to him being discovered by Dr. Dre and signed to Aftermath Records.

In 2005, the Game released his major-label debut album, The Documentary, which became a huge commercial success. The album was certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in March 2005. The Game's success helped bring the West Coast hip hop scene back into the mainstream, and he was considered a driving force in the resurgence of the genre. The Documentary was named one of the top 50 albums of 2005 by Pitchfork Media.

After the success of The Documentary, the Game released his second major-label album, Doctor's Advocate, in 2006. Although the album did not feature any production from Dr. Dre, it still debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The New York Times named Doctor's Advocate the best hip-hop album of 2006.

Despite his success, the Game had a falling out with 50 Cent, and he left Aftermath Records to sign with Geffen, which was another label under Universal's Interscope Geffen A&M unit. The Game's next album, LAX, was released in 2008 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200.

The Game continued to release successful albums throughout the 2010s, including The R.E.D. Album, Jesus Piece, The Documentary 2, The Documentary 2.5, and 1992. In 2019, the Game released Born 2 Rap, which he announced to be his final studio album.

However, in 2022, it was announced that the Game's career would continue with the release of his tenth studio album, Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind. In addition to music, the Game has also acted in motion pictures and founded The Black Wall Street Records.
