Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996) was born in Stavanger, Norway. She is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and record producer. She is professionally known as Aurora. She grew up in the picturesque towns of Høle and Os. Aurora's remarkable journey in the world of music began at the tender age of six when she started crafting her first songs and immersing herself in the art of dance.

Her meteoric rise to fame can be traced back to the early days of her career when some of her compositions gained considerable popularity in Norway after being shared online. This digital recognition paved the way for her to sign recording contracts with renowned labels, including Petroleum Records, Decca, and Glassnote Records, in 2014.
