Élie Thitia Yaffa (born December 9, 1976) was born in Sèvres, France. He is a French rapper. He is professionally known as Booba. who rose to fame as part of the duo Lunatic before embarking on a highly successful solo career. Booba initially began his artistic journey as a break dancer in the early 1990s.

However, it was his collaboration with his friend Ali that propelled him into the spotlight. Together, they formed the rap duo Lunatic and released an album in 2000 that garnered critical acclaim. Despite their success, the duo disbanded in 2003, leading Booba to embark on a highly successful solo career.
